Police said multiple people were shot and killed late Saturday night at the Dye House Apartments at 190 Pine Street in Manchester in an apparent murder-suicide, officials said.
MANCHESTER — Three women were killed and a man shot himself in an apparent triple murder-suicide at the Dye House Apartments on Pine Street late Saturday, police said.
Officers received reports of multiple gunshots in the area of 190 Pine St. around 9:40 p.m. Police arrived within minutes and confronted a man in the parking lot of the apartment building who was carrying a 13-month-old child, Capt. Christopher Davis said in a statement.
After a short confrontation with police, the man put the child on the ground and shot himself with a handgun. One officer fired a shot at the suspect but missed, Davis said. The toddler was unharmed.
Davis said police searched the complex and found three women dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Their identities have not been released. Autopsies will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
