MANCHESTER — Police are to conduct a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday and early Sunday on Spencer Street at the I-84 overpass.
Motorists travelling in both directions will be stopped from about 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., police said. Local police are to conduct the checkpoint with Metro Traffic Services, a regional squad.
This checkpoint is funded by a federal grant coordinated by the state Department of Transportation for the enforcement of drunk driving laws.
